Welcome To The Happiest Place On Earth!

Greetings! My name is Michael Schnell, and I am currently serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! You may have seen missionaries around: young men in white shirts and ties riding bikes, young women in brightly colored and trendy dresses, skirts, and blouses. You may have even stopped to talk with them, and listened to the message we share with the world. Did you take the time to do so? I hope so. Did you pray about the things they talked with you about? I hope so, and the reason I hope so is because I know the message we share has changed my life so much for the better, and can do the same for you!

Whether Elder or Sister, you probably noticed their name tag, which bears their own name, as well as the name of the church. You'll notice that the two most prominent parts of their tag are their own name, and the name of the Savior. This is because as missionaries, we are personal representatives of Jesus Christ, sent by Him to you, to share His message.

But now to the purpose of this blog! As you may have noticed from the name and background of this blog, I have a great love for Jesus Christ and His gospel, and I also have a great love for all things Disney! My hope is that, as I talk about these two wonderful topics together, you will be able to understand and relate to the posts I share about the gospel of Jesus Christ, and that you will feel the Spirit as you read. But hold on, how do I know if I'm feeling the Spirit?

"...the fruit of the Spirit is joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance..."
-Galatians 5:22-23

Pay attention to how you feel as you read the posts on this blog, and ask yourself if you have felt any of the feelings listed in the preceding scripture. Just like a good tree yields delicious fruit, a message from God will be accompanied by the Spirit, because Heavenly Father sends the Spirit to help us know this is something he wants us to know. And please, if you have any questions about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or its' members, commonly referred to as "Mormons", please visit mormon.org. Don't forget to pray and ask God if what you felt was real!

Well, thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope you will read my future posts, because now the Disney-fying begins!
